Sniace Plans Spanish Ethanol Plant
Dec 17th, 2009Spain’s Sniace SA plans to build a $147m (€100m) ethanol plant at its main site in the northern Spanish city of Torrelavega.
The construction of the new plant is expected to start before the end of 2010 after winning clearances from regional and local authorities.
The company expects the plant to generate more than €20m in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in 2012.
The firm also plans to build its Polish ethanol plant near to the German border in the first half of 2010, after Germany reviewed the project.
